David Brandon Lewis, born on September 6, 1984, in Charlotte, NC was taken from this world on November 14, 2025, in Grapevine, TX due to a motorcycle accident. He was the beloved husband of Chelsea Moss and loving Father to Kai Wardlow.

David was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by compassion, love, and a lust for life. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

David is survived by his wife, Chelsea Moss, and son, Kai Wardlow. David was the cherished son of Jeremy and Julie Chapman, and Steve and Lena Lewis. He was the loving brother of Briana Barnett, and brother-in-law, Tatum Barnett; and the amazing fun Uncle (Funcle) to his nephew Xander Barnett. David was the cherished nephew of Cindy Mumma. He also leaves behind extended family, friends, soldier brethren, co-workers and countless others whom David loved as his chosen family.

After his graduation from Coppell High School, David joined the United States Army where he served for 4 years. His dedication to the service of our country and serving others was beyond measure. He had a love for adventure, road trips, and found so much peace when riding his Harley across this beautiful earth.

Those who knew David will remember him for his infectious smile, overwhelming laughter, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Although David's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.

The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of David Brandon Lewis will be held on November 24, 2025 at Vista Ridge United Methodist Church at 2901 Denton Tap Rd, Lewisville, TX 75067. We will be allowing time for folks to gather and remember David together between 11:30am and 12:45pm. Celebration of Life services will begin at 1pm. David will be interred at Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 at 3:15pm, November 24, 2025. Donations will be used to cover funeral related expenses for the family and the remainder will be put into a college fund for his son, Kai.
