September 20, 1934 – November 30, 2023
November 30,2023 Michael Snyder passed to the arms of his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, at age 89
years old. Michael was the oldest son of Jack and Betty Snyder born in New York City. He is survived by
his brother, Spencer, his three sons, Henry Sanchez, Jerome, and Craig and his wife, Kaymar. He has 6
grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He graduated from Miami H.S. in Florida then returned to NY
to attend Long Island University. He met and married Laura (Cruz) in 1957. Mike and Laura were
married for 56 years when Laura passed in 2013. Mike was an Army Reservist, activated during the
Cuban Missile Crisis in 1961 and was stationed in Virginia. He returned to New York after leaving the
army and worked in many different capacities. He was a successful insurance agent as well as working
on Wall St. He worked in retail as well as restaurant management. During this time, he came to know
Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. He began studying the Bible voraciously and sought to serve the
Lord with his life. He moved from New York and lived in Atlanta, Georgia. While in Atlanta, he was given
an opportunity to move to Pensacola to work in a ministry sending bibles and reference materials to
people in prison as well as Christians around the world. He worked for this ministry, helping it to grow,
until he retired. After his retirement, he continued to minister to Christians and serve the Lord which was his greatest joy.
Services were entrusted to DFW ARLINGTON NATIONAL FUNERAL HOME
